The Pride of Lionesses

Cross stitch was the very first craft I discovered as a child, and animals have almost always been my subject of choice. After many years away from the needle, I sought out a project that was significantly larger and more challenging than anything I had tackled before. I spent several months devoted to these lionesses, stitching almost every day—so much so that I ended up with elbow pain! At the time, I didn’t realize that this ambitious project was just a precursor to an even larger animal design I would create a few years later.
